Artisian Cheese

Our Sheep Milk cheese is very creamy with subtle flavours not found in other cheese styles, whilst the Goat Milk Cheese has strong tangy flavours, and provides a lower fat alternative. Our range of sheep and goat cheeses include Fresh Cheeses, Feta, Marinated Feta, Blue and Soft Ripened styles such as Brie.

The inspiration for Leaning Oak came from the farms and farmers markets of Spain, France and Italy so it seemed fitting when naming our cheese that we chose Italian. Our range of cheeses is available in Capre – Goat, Pecore – Sheep and Misto - Mixed (for our range of cheeses blending goat and cow milk):

Goat cheese:

Capre Fresco A fresh creamy spreadable goat cheese that will develop a white mould bloom and ripen creating a fuller flavour profile

Capre Oro A golden washed rind Goat Cheese – as this cheese ripens it will develop complex farmyard flavours and become soft and oozy.

Capre Maturo A soft mould ripened goat cheese - This camembert style cheese is ripened using white penicillin mould the resulting cheese is ripe and creamy and a must on your cheese platter and just lovely when gently warmed under the grill over bread or vegetables.

Capre Blu A rare goat blue cheese - This is a gentle blue with a creamy texture and mild goat flavours.

Capre Fetta Goat fetta – is a firm lightly salted cheese ideal for salads, platters, pasta or on just one it's own.

Capre Fetta – Pesto Goat fetta in Basil Pesto – the sweet basil compliments the creamy lightly salted feta ideal with tomato dishes, salads, pastas and great with eggs in quiches or frittatas.

Capre Fetta – Lemone Goat feta with preserved citrus fruit – the blend of citrus and our creamy goat feta is ideal with fish dishes, green salads, curries and to use as a filling for stuffed capsicums and zucchini flowers.

Capre-Pecore OreA golden washed rind Cheese made from a blend of goat and sheep milk – the cheese is gold in colour and sheep milk gives a very creamy consistency added to the complex flavours of the goat milk.
